Wow! The past few weeks have just flown by! The students have been having so much fun celebrating the end of the year. Lunch at school, Field Day, visiting a first grade classroom, having 5th graders come visit our classroom, and spending time with friends are just a few of the ways we are enjoying our final days of kindergarten.
I am so proud of each and every student and am amazed by the growth I have seen over this year. I feel so fortunate to have been able to work with your children each day and am so sad to see them go. I know they will all make terrific first graders! Have a wonderful summer!

- Welcome to the 2017-2018 school year! I am so excited to be teaching kindergarten this year at Dryden! I have been teaching for 20 years. After graduating from Illinois State University, I began teaching 3rd grade in Lake Forest. I taught 2nd and 3rd grades there, while also receiving my Master's Degree in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Illinois University. I came to Dryden in 2002 and have taught 1st, 2nd, and 3rd grade here. I am thrilled to now be teaching kindergarten!
